Things That Make People Smile :)

Who else is stressed and desperately needs positivity in their life?! I definitely am! Between studying for my first midterms and trying to pull myself out the ocean of schoolwork, I'm basically desperate for a break and some happiness. Here, today, I bring you a list of things or daily occurrences that generally make the corners of your mouth turn up into a smile (or at least make me happy).

• When someone gives you spare candy
• A perfectly popped bag of popcorn
• Finishing a good book
• Finishing an awful book (thank god it's over!!)
• When you sit down in class and find that the last person who sat there left a bag of your favorite chips in your desk... okay this one's super specific but it's not like it hasn’t happened before!
• When a song from your favorite artist plays on the radio (YAAASSSS TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!!!)
• When your test is postponed because your teacher forgot to print it out
• Cat pics!!
• When your grade is OVER 100%
• When you finally finish your homework😓
• Someone who actually returns the pencil they borrowed
• When the pizza comes!!
• When you trick-or-treat a house giving out king size😋
• Hearing an old favorite on the radio
• Finding the perfect mash-up
• Cute potted cactuses
• Adorable little succulents 
• Finishing a drawing that took hours
• Waking up early enough for breakfast on a school day (Or is only me who struggles with this one?😂)
• Having no homework at all

Flowery Photography!

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I didn't post anything after my first post! I have a lot going on and we are traveling in the next few days. I will try to write in the car and post when I can. One of my favorite hobbies to do in my free time is photography. If you want to know the whole story of how I became obsessed with it, you can read the page on my blog titled "About Me, Summer!" to get to know me a bit more. Long story short, when I was younger, I had a pink toy camera that took pictures that I used to bring everywhere, and as I got older (and obviously, gave up my little pink camera) I realized that photography was something that I really loved doing. Anyways, one of my favorite things to take pictures of is nature. Today I went to my grandma's house. In her backyard, she has tons of beautiful flowers and whenever I go I always end up taking lots of pics. So here ya go!

My First Ever Blog!!

Hey guys! Welcome to my first blog, RoseViolet! The name I chose came from two things: a color that my friend thought perfectly represented my personality, and the fact that I love flowers. I'm not quite sure what this blog should be about yet, but I guess I'll just see what it becomes. One of the main reasons I made this blog is to get better at writing.
